Update on face-to-face exams

Throughout the pandemic Trinity has made the safety of all our candidates, examiners and staff our number one priority. Following the UK government’s recent announcements regarding the planned phased approach to easing lockdown restrictions we wanted to update you on our own plans. In line with the latest government advice, we are currently not offering face-to-face exams, and this will continue to be the case until official guidance changes. Rest assured we will give further updates soon explaining the timelines.

In the meantime, we are keen to continue to support teachers, candidates and schools across all our subjects. Our new Digital Grades and Diplomas exams for Music, Rock & Pop and Drama offer an academically robust and simple-to-use alternative to live assessment, and we encourage teachers, candidates and schools across all of our arts subjects to pursue digital assessment during these uncertain times. For more information on the Digital Grades and Diplomas, click here.

The delivery of our SELT exams for the UKVI is classed as an essential service by the UK government and our UK SELT COVID-secure test points are open. Click here for further details.

We will continue to monitor and reassess the situation and will communicate on a regular basis over the months ahead.
