About the presenter

Mark teaches English as a Foreign Language at Wimbledon School of English and English for Academic Purposes at University College London. He has also delivered Teacher Development workshops in various countries around the world.

His recent focus is on helping teachers and learners navigate the fast-evolving world of AI integration in language education. Mark believes AI can be a force for good when used to promote engagement, empowerment, and autonomy in learning. His sessions explore practical, accessible ways to use AI that encourage self-directed learning and critical thinking, without losing sight of human connection in the classroom.
