1. How to book

Please note that the booking period for Music, Rock & Pop and Drama digital assessments has now closed.

2. Record your performance

Once we have processed your application, you will receive an email with details on how to login into the system to upload your video and any supporting documentation which may be required. This will be approximately fourteen days after completing the form, but occasionally it may take a little longer.

Please make sure to add the following email address to your ‘safe sender’ list as it may otherwise go to Junk or Spam: noreply@learning.trinitycollege.com 

Candidates attempting Grades 6-8 and are intending to use the UCAS points as part of their application for higher education, must have registered by 25 June and uploaded their video by 10 July 2020 in order to meet UCAS deadlines.

You must upload:

  • A Word document or PDF listing each of your pieces in the order in which you are playing them

We cannot assess your performance without this documentation.

  • If you are not playing from a Trinity graded exam book or are performing your own composition, you should also upload scanned copies or photographs of those pieces
  • If you have a supporting letter to notify the examiner of any extra time or special allowance that we should be aware of, please upload this as well.
  • Music diploma candidates should upload their printed programme and, if applicable, their programme approval letter.

3. Your work will be assessed by an examiner

4. Receive your result

Shortly afterwards we will issue you with the final result and qualification. To understand how your result will be calculated, please watch the short video below. For further information about how this is calculated please visit the results calculation page.

The process for reviewing results is managed by Trinity College London and is not open to external canvassing or consideration.

 

Deadlines

Booking and conversion deadlines
All candidates must have booked or converted by the following dates:

  • 25 June 2020 – Candidates intending on using the UCAS points as part of their higher education application
  • 17 July 2020 – Candidates outside of the UK and Ireland
  • 31 July 2020 – UK and Ireland candidates

Video upload deadlines
All candidates must have uploaded their videos by the following dates:

  • 10 July 2020 – Candidates intending on using the UCAS points as part of their higher education application
  • 31 July 2020 – Candidates outside of the UK and Ireland
  • 14 August 2020 – UK and Ireland candidates
