Recognition

In Australia, most tertiary institutions recognize Trinity grades and diplomas as awards assisting applicants to gain entry. Many universities now provide additional bonus points for entry upon successful completion of Trinity diplomas. 

  • In Victoria, Students who have successfully completed Grade 7 or above of certain Trinity College London examinations may obtain one unit of ‘unspecified credit’ at Unit 1 or Unit 2 level toward the VCE. 
  • In South Australia, practical music examinations are recognised from Grades 5-8 on the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) from the SACE Board of SA. 
  • In Tasmania, Trinity’s awards are recognised by the Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification for inclusion on the Tasmanian Certificate of Education. 

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, Trinity is recognised by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual), the Welsh Assembly Government and Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA).
