Before your interview, spend a bit of time exploring what we do and what we believe in. Being able to link your experience to our values will really make an impression.
Look for tangible evidence you can talk through clearly with us as we’ll be keen to understand how your past experiences have taught your valuable lessons.
Read the job description and think about how you can contribute to the role. Showing interest and picking out certain aspects of the role to discuss says a lot.
Be thoughtful and transparent in how you use AI. Be prepared to explain how AI supports your thinking rather than replaces it.
Choose a space with minimal distractions. Test your technology, eg microphone, to avoid interruptions. Have water nearby, and a pen and paper if you find it helpful.
Prepare questions that show genuine interest in the role. Consider things like team culture, how you can contribute, and plans for the team. An interview is a two-way conversation and an opportunity for you to learn more.
We will always aim to use our in-depth knowledge and experience to help you match with and fulfil your career aspirations. We will take time to listen to you and understand your motivations and personal situation. You can speak to a member of our recruitment team to find out the latest career opportunities available and we can give you full details including hours of work, location, offer salary etc.
Wherever possible, we will meet you for a comprehensive face-to-face / MS Teams or telephone interview. Depending on the seniority of the role, you may be required for an additional second stage interview to meet with an executive member of staff and with the rest of the team.
We will break down the barriers that keep you from presenting the best version of yourselves to us. If you want an alternative way to put in an application, need a little extra help with your application, or if you have any individual requirements or reasonable adjustments at any stage along your recruitment journey, let us know and we will be happy to take a look. Candidates may submit their CV or fill out a Trinity job application form.
We will provide practical information and advice prior to your interview. We have a detailed Candidate Interview Pack that we’ll send to you along with the Job Description so that you know what to expect and how you can best prepare yourself ahead of your meeting with us.
We will always interact with you in a fair and professional manner by being open, honest and fully transparent at all times. Throughout the application process, we’ll update you as best we can so that you know where you stand with us.
Our recruitment team is always here to have a conversation with you and help answer your questions. We will offer professional and confidential guidance. If you wish to get in touch with us, please email recruitment@trinitycollege.com and a member of the team will respond back within 48 hours.
