Introducing Improvisation – Grade 3 (Harmonic stimulus)
Watch Lucinda Mackworth-Young introduce Sophia to the famous 1950s chord progression and improvising using secondary chords ii and vi in C major, F major and G major. Left hand rhythmic patterns are introduced and further ideas for melodic creativity developed through the use of the full scale and rhythms of pieces contained in the Trinity Piano Syllabus 2018–2020 at Grade 3.
