New specifications available for Trinity ESOL Skills for Life (QCF) exams

1 Dec 2014

Trinity ESOL Skills for Life specifications are now available for exams taken from January 2015.

These qualifications are for adults aged 16 and over who live in the UK and need English for everyday life and work.
Trinity’s ESOL consultant, Janet Golding, said: ‘

These exams are 100% externally assessed, flexible and available on demand. Preparing for them will help people develop the practical and communicative English language skills they need to progress into mainstream education and employment in the UK.’

Trinity’s Skills for Life qualifications are contemporary and learner-centred and offered at five levels, from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). Three individual Awards are available: in Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing. An overarching Trinity Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life is awarded when each individual Award has been passed at the same level.

All new ESOL Skills for Life qualifications are on the QCF rather than the NQF (National Qualifications Framework). Visit www.trinitycollege.com/sfl to download exam specifications and Ofqual reference numbers.
