Trinity College London is proudly supporting the ELT Ireland 8th Annual Conference in Dublin, 19-20 February 2022. Taking place at Griffith College, the 2-day event will include various sessions on the theme of ‘A new beginning?’.
ELT Ireland is a network for professionals involved in all aspects of English Language Teaching. Their mission is to promote learning, development, and best practice in ELT through the sharing of knowledge and experiences in Ireland.
Representing Trinity; Angelos Bollas will be presenting to delegates on ‘Autonomous CPD in Difficult Times’ on Saturday, 19 February. In this session, Angelos will explore the possibilities and opportunities for autonomous continuous professional development for English language teachers in Ireland. Head of Business Development, Language, UK and Ireland, Alison Castle Kane, will also be on hand during the event, showcasing:
- Trinity’s English language exams and Teaching English qualifications available in Ireland
- New developments from Trinity in Teacher Education, including the in-service TESOL qualification, the Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT), Trinity’s online course Trinity Teach English Online, and the Certificate in Online Teaching (CertOT)
- Digital delivery of Trinity's key English language exams GESE and ISE
- Upcoming events and support opportunities for teachers, including the online Future of English Language Teaching Conference and the ongoing Transformative Teachers Webinars.
