Graded Awards in Music Performance (piano) are Trinity’s new qualifications that enable learners to be assessed by a music learning technology platform as an integrated part of interactive, step-by-step lessons.

Recognition while using a music learning app

Trinity’s Graded Awards in Music Performance (piano) enable candidates to use a music technology platform as an integrated component of learning the piano, with real-time feedback and assessment provided within the technology. These sit alongside our face-to-face and digital graded exams, providing even more choice and flexibility in how a regulated qualification can be achieved.

Measures progress and achievement through interactive, step-by-step lessons

Learners work through interactive, step-by-step lessons, and are assessed by the music learning technology platform, using the assessment criteria, and must pass four pieces at the required level to achieve an overall Pass. Learning outcomes focus on on music performance, pitch and rhythm, taking learners from beginner level to early intermediate level. The qualifications are graded as Pass or Below Pass, and are available at Initial, Grade 1 and Grade 2.
