Trinity College London Communication Skills exams present candidates with practical, creative tasks that reflect real-world situations, enabling them to develop invaluable 21st century skills and make real progress in life.
Trinity offers exams in Communication Skills for candidates of all ages at all levels. The exams are offered for individuals and groups at Initial (pre-foundation) to Grade 8. Trinity also offers Performance Certificates at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels, for candidates who want to focus on developing their skills in creating and delivering presentations for a range of audiences and settings.
The 'from 2019' specifications:
Following updates made to the Communication Skills Specifications from 2019, the Professional Certificate in Communication Skills exam is being withdrawn.
The final date for examination of this qualification is 31 August 2020. There are alternative qualification pathways that can be taken, and for more information on these please refer to this document.
Candidates can take graded Communication Skills exams using either the 2010 or the 2019 versions of the syllabus specifications until 31 August 2020 when both versions will be withdrawn. From 1 September 2020 all candidates should enter exams using the Communication Skills syllabus specifications 2020.
Please note that there are no changes in exam requirements between the 2019 and 2020 versions of the specifications.Download the 'from 2010' specifications
From 1 September 2020 the From 2020 specifications will replace the From 2019 specifications. There is no change in the requirements between the two editions, just the addition of attainment descriptors. The From 2020 specifications will overlap with From 2010 specifications until 31 May 2021 when the 2010 edition will be withdrawn.
