About James
James Treweek has been teaching the piano for nearly 25 years, both as an individual piano tutor and ensemble coach at secondary and university level, and also at various summer schools.
He is as much in demand for his arranging and musical directing skills as he is for his piano-playing ability, and has worked with a diverse range of artists including David Benoit, London Musici, the recreation of Sinatra's European Sextet at Ronnie Scott’s, Tom Solomon, and various West End theatre productions.
James is a prolific arranger and producer and has worked with the Sugababes, David Gray and numerous other artists for TV and media.
James Treweek has written two pieces for Trinity’s 2023 piano syllabus: The Curious Incident (Grade 4) and Mandala (Grade 7).
