Trinity College London launches seven new Music Syllabuses for 2013 – 2014

3 Oct 2012

Seven new music syllabuses (Initial to Grade 8) from Trinity College London have now been released with an updated design and layout. The new 2013-2014 music syllabuses are valid from January 2013; however, repertoire from the current syllabuses will also remain valid throughout 2013.

New syllabuses are available for Singing, Strings, Electronic Keyboard, Electronic Organ and Organ, Woodwind, Jazz Woodwind, Brass and Guitar. In addition to full details about the graded exams, the new syllabuses include details of Trinity’s innovative Certificate exam. These exams offer candidates the opportunity to create a programme and perform as a soloist, in a group or as an ensemble at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Trinity’s Chief Examiner for Music, Nicholas Keyworth said ‘We are delighted with these new syllabuses, which will support teaching and learning more effectively and give candidates an even greater range of choices as they are preparing for their exams’.
