Trinity College London is selected as provider for Artsmark
16 Mar 2012
Trinity College London has been selected by Arts Council England as the national delivery provider for the Artsmark programme
The decision, announced on Friday 16 March following an open selection process, means that Trinity will deliver the Artsmark programme between April 2012 and March 2015. Trinity College London has also, since 2005, managed Arts Award in association with Arts Council England.
Sarah Kemp, Chief Executive at Trinity College London, said: ‘We are delighted with the news and look forward to working with Arts Council England to deliver the programme. We will build on the success of Artsmark over the past 12 years to enable a whole new generation of schools and organisations to benefit from this important arts education kitemark. We look forward to working closely with the cultural and education sectors to build even more success stories together.’
‘We are very proud of Arts Award and the fast development of this programme over the last seven years, and we welcome the recognition of both Arts Award and Artsmark in the recent cultural education review led by Darren Henley.’
Further information on the benefits of this exciting announcement will be available in the summer term.
