New: Trinity Teach English Online and the Level 4 Certificate in Online Teaching (CertOT)

4 Nov 2021

Trinity is excited to announce the launch of a brand new digital product for English language teachers – Trinity Teach English Online (TEO). TEO is an online, self-study course that can lead to a new Trinity Level 4 Ofqual-regulated qualification – the Certificate in Online Teaching (CertOT), also delivered online. The 30-hour, 10-unit course is designed to help teachers develop and enhance their online teaching skills. Upon completion of the course, participants have the option to enter for the new CertOT qualification.

TEO is Trinity’s first end-to-end digital product, offering both learning and assessment online. For the first time, individual teachers will be able to register and purchase both an online course and an externally-assessed qualification directly from Trinity.

Trinity’s Head of Teacher Education, Ben Beaumont explains: ‘We wanted to offer teachers a high quality, practical and engaging opportunity to learn new skills that they can use immediately in a wide range of real-life online teaching contexts.’ He goes on to say: ‘TEO is ideal for teachers who want to improve their online lesson delivery and find out more about the latest best practice techniques’.

Trinity has a long-established, international reputation as a leading provider of English language teaching qualifications including the CertTESOL, DipTESOL and other specialist qualifications. With expertise in general teaching pedagogy, English language teaching and online teaching, Trinity aims to share its knowledge with teachers around the world.

To find out more, including language requirements, total qualification time, highlights from an impact research study and a free sample unit, visit trinitycollege.com/TEO
