New 2009-2011 Piano Examination Series available now!

With the new Piano 2009-2011 syllabus to be released later this year, the supporting books and materials are already available:

Piano Pieces & Exercises Initial–Grade 8 - seperate books for each grade containing a selection of 9 expertly selected pieces from the complete syllabus in addition to the exercises set for the technical work section of the grade.

Piano Examination CDs Initial–Grade 8 - recordings of all the pieces listed in the new syllabus

Teaching Notes Initial–Grade 8 - guidance on teaching all pieces on the Trinity Guildhall 2009–2011 Piano syllabus.

The Sound at Sight series of books of Sight Reading examples continue to be the preparation books for this part of the exam.

Syllabus Overlap Session

Please note that there will be one session of overlap for the current and new syllabuses - for the Spring session of 2009 it will still be possible to use the 2007 & 2008 syllabus.
