Lifetime Achievement Award for the Promotion of International Music in India

Mr M Haricharan Das, Trinity Guildhall’s National Manager in Chennai, has received a lifetime achievement award from Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy (Mumbai) in recognition of his devotion to the promotion and performance of international music in India. 

Mr Das, the longest serving representative of Trinity music examinations worldwide, manages Trinity’s largest music centre in the world, based in Chennai, India. He is also the Managing Director of Museé Musical Pvt., Ltd and Director of Furtados Music Pvt., Ltd. 

On Mr Das’s award, Alfred D’souza, Chairman and Music Director of Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy commented:

‘It endeavours to encourage those in the field of music to give off their best and encourage others to grow musically. Having cut my teeth musically on books I bought from Museé Musical when growing up, it was my extreme pleasure that Mr Das was recommended for this award’.
