Trinity is supporting the 7th ELT Ireland Annual Conference 2021

17 Feb 2021

As an associate of ELT Ireland, Trinity College London will be supporting the 7th Annual ELT Ireland Annual Online Conference taking place 20-21 February 2021.

The focus of this year’s event is ‘teaching in the new normal’ and will host over 30 speakers. This includes Trinity’s Ben Beaumont, Head of TESOL Qualifications, whose presentation ‘‘To be or not to be…: Teacher Agency in 2021” looks at the various opportunities for teachers to develop their practice that have been presented over the last 12 months.

Representatives of Trinity will be on hand throughout the virtual coffee breaks to answer any questions delegates may have about Trinity's internationally recognised English language and English teaching qualifications and awards. These include:

Integrated Skills in English (ISE)

Trinity's Integrated Skills in English exam (ISE) is a contemporary four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) qualification recognised by universities and governments, including INIS.

Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)

GESE exams are for people of all ages who want to develop communicative English language speaking and listening skills for use in real life - whatever the purpose, whether for immigration, work, study, leisure or employment.

Trinity Stars: Young Performers in English Award

Our Trinity Stars: Young Performers in English Award is designed to encourage teaching and learning English language through drama, music and performance.

CertPT

The Trinity Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT) promotes the development of specialist pedagogical knowledge and skills to support the professional development of English language teachers.
