Contribute to the development of new qualification for music educators

Arts Council England and Creative & Cultural Skills are involving music education professionals in the development of a new qualification for music educators working with children and young people.

The qualification is intended for professional musicians, music service teachers, community musicians, self-employed music teachers and classroom music teachers.

A series of consultation meetings about the new qualification are taking place in London, Birmingham and Manchester later this month. Professional musicians, teachers, employers and course providers will have the opportunity to find out about the qualification and contribute to its development.
