Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exams assess four skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening). Mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ISE is available at 6 levels (A1-C2), and achievement of an ISE qualification is often used to evidence English language proficiency for university admission, in the workplace, and for visa purposes.
English language schools around the world work with Trinity to provide the ISE exam as a concluding assessment of both General English and Academic Programmes. Namely, it is a popular choice for visa purposes in Ireland, is accepted by the UKVI as a Secure English Language Test (SELT) and is well respected for the positive impact that preparation has on both teaching and learning.
During this webinar, the presenter will look at the underlying principles of all Trinity exams which are learner-centred, motivating, designed to assess communicative competence and promote the development of transferable skills for real-life communication.
