Working with Trinity: Focus on ESOL

Trinity's ESOL Skills for Life exams are for adults aged 16 and over living in the UK who need English language skills for everyday life, for study and for employment. They are designed to aid progression and access into mainstream education in the UK and employment paths where English language skills are a requirement. 

In this webinar, participants will be provided with an overview of Trinity’s ESOL Skills for Life exams from Entry level 1 – Level 2, and Trinity’s pre-entry level ESOL Step 1 and 2 awards, which are designed for those learners who are not yet ready to take an Entry level qualification. 

The presenter will also discuss the unique aspects of Trinity’s ESOL exams, which include: 

  • A personalised speaking and listening assessment with a trained Trinity examiner 
  • Relevant and authentic assessment content that reflects real-life 
  • Motivating assessment tasks that support the development of communicative and transferable skills that help to build learners’ confidence to use those skills in real-life 
  • The convenience and security that you can expect with an external, professional assessment 
  • Focused and comprehensive teacher support resources for use in the ESOL classroom.
