GESE and ISE

Trinity has introduced digital alternative arrangements for the Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) and the Speaking and Listening module of the Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exam. Both exams can be delivered by video conferencing within registered exam centres from April 2021.

ISE Reading and Writing exams resumed from April 2021, following the set exam dates for 2021 – again taking place at registered exam centres.

ESOL Skills for Life speaking and listening exams

Sessions for Trinity’s ESOL Skills for Life speaking and listening exams are available to book. These will be delivered digitally by video conferencing within our registered exam centres.

The ESOL Skills for Life Reading and Writing module resumed from April 2021, following the set exam dates for 2021 – again taking place at registered exam centres.

In consideration of the viability of centres being able to deliver exams with appropriate social distancing, information on Trinity’s Teacher Assessed Grades process has been distributed to Registered Exam Centres as a contingency.

Bespoke training and further information

Registered exam centres should request training before booking any of the above listed assessments. This is to ensure that necessary considerations for delivery online in centres can be addressed locally, and that the responsibilities for the health and safety of centre staff and candidates are fully understood before implementation. To register for training, or if you have questions regarding the digital delivery of Trinity’s English language exams, please email: UKesol@trinitycollege.co.uk.
