10 November 2021

Trinity College London is delighted to be participating in the Future of Training Online Conference 2021 by International House London on Saturday 13 November.

This year’s conference will focus on all the amazing developments that have been going on in the world of ELT and teacher education. Speakers will be delivering talks throughout the day that are focused on:

  1. Aspects of training/training threads
  2. Training in diverse contexts
  3. Modes of delivery

During the online event, representatives of Trinity will be delivering a talk on the development of Trinity’s Teach English Online self-study course and the new Certificate in Online Teaching (CertOT).

Trinity Teach English Online (30 hours)

Trinity Teach English Online is suitable for those new to online teaching or those already working online that are looking to further develop their lesson delivery and learn about emerging best practice techniques.

Trainees can study either individual three-hour units, or can choose units that have been bundled together into larger modules of study.

The course content modules cover:

  • Preparing for the online classroom
  • Developing language skills online
  • Resources for online learning and teaching

The Certificate in Online Teaching (20 hours)

On completion of the Trinity Teach English Online course, trainees can progress to the Trinity Certificate in Online Teaching (CertOT). The CertOT assesses key learning from the course, enabling trainees to formalise their development with an internationally recognised Level 4 Ofqual-regulated teaching qualification.
