Projects and Activities for Young Learners

Wednesday 24 April 2024, 4.00pm (UK time)

Summary

This session looks at the benefits of using a variety of projects and activities in the classroom and how they can be integrated into the curriculum. Most of the activities we will explore have been successfully used with pre-teens (10-12 year olds), but we will also look at some activities used with younger learners. As we explore these materials, we will discuss some of the challenges we faced, as well as how we tried to address them. This will be a practical session in which several projects and activities you could use or adapt for your own young learners classroom will be shown.
