Follow the instructions on this page to make a booking for your Trinity Secure English Language Test.

Which test do I need?

The test you need to take will depend on the type of visa application you plan to make. You may need one to be able to get either a family visa, work visa, or study visa to be able to live in the UK. You can check which test you need here.

Ready to book?

You need your identification – this must be the same document that you will bring with you to your exam and it cannot be a photocopy. Have your document ready when you start your booking so you can add your personal details. 

Acceptable identification includes: Passport, Identity Card EEA, UK Biometric Permit or Card, Convention Travel Document or a Stateless Person’s Travel Document.

Completing your booking form

Choose your exam, the location, the date and the time when you’d like to take your test.

Fill in your personal details and the information from your chosen ID.

Click 'Yes' for the following question:

Click Continue and Review your booking information. Make sure all of your personal details are correct.

Make your payment to finish your booking.

Following your booking, you'll receive an email confirmation asking you to double-check that all of the details are correct. You'll then receive another email confirming your exam date, time, and location.

About the Community Referral Scheme

Trinity’s Community Referral Scheme supports community groups and charities working with newly arrived and settled migrants who need to integrate into UK society, and who wish to make the UK their permanent home.

In using the booking instructions on this page, you are enabling Trinity to make a financial contribution back to organizations that offer day-to-day support, advice and regular ESOL lessons to help learners improve their English and access further education and employment.

About Action Foundation

Action Foundation is an award-winning charity providing support to disadvantaged refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants. Their language school, Action Language, provides free English lessons for people who cannot access mainstream classes. Learners are taught by qualified volunteer teachers and assistants in Newcastle, Sunderland and online. They also provide assistance with accommodation and deliver one-to-one advisory sessions in weekly drop-ins.
