Trinity Language Qualifications awarded ALTE Q-mark

Trinity is delighted to announce that our Language qualifications GESE, ISE and Skills for Life have passed a rigorous audit and met all 17 of ALTE’s quality standards.

ALTE, the Association of Language Testers in Europe, was established in 1989 with an aim to establish common standards for language testing across Europe and to ensure that individual test takers gained a language qualification that was a fair and accurate assessment of their linguistic ability, one which was recognised around the world, and which could be accurately compared to qualifications in other languages.

ALTE has awarded the following qualifications the Q-mark, which gives test users the assurance that Trinity’s Language exams have been assessed and developed through robust processes, criteria and standards:

• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 1 (Pre-A1)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 2 (A1)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grades 3 & 4 (A2)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grades 5 & 6 (B1)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grades 7, 8 & 9 (B2)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grades 10 & 11 (C1)
• Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) Grade 12 (C2)
• Integrated Skills in English (ISE) 0 (A2)
• Integrated Skills in English (ISE) 1 (B1)
• Integrated Skills in English (ISE) 2 (B2)
• Integrated Skills in English (ISE) 3 (C1)
• Integrated Skills in English (ISE) 4 (C2)
• Skills for Life Entry 1 (A1)
• Skills for Life Entry 2 (A2)
