Samantha Steele

Sector Support Manager, Music & Partnerships

Samantha comes from the Secondary Music teaching field having taught across London and briefly in China and Hong Kong with experience as a performer and producer. At Trinity she currently supports music hubs and schools with their music exams and arts award as well as looking after the CME qualification.

Kat Stapley Smith

Sector Support Manager, Primary, SEND and Alternative Provision

With a background in music performance, Kat supports current customers from primary schools, SEND and Alternative Provision settings who are working towards Trinity’s Music and Arts Award qualifications. Kat also manages the Arts Award and Music & Drama Access Fund.

Toby Davies

UK&I Business Development Manager, Music and Performing

Toby currently heads up our Business Development team whilst also looking after our wider Local Area Representative network. He has years of teaching experience as well as an extensive performance background. Toby has a wealth of knowledge across the music and performing arts sector and will happily talk about all things Trinity for hours – if you have the time!

JJ Wheeler

National Development Manager, Rock & Pop

JJ has a strong background as a professional musician, educator and examiner. His teaching experience ranges from local music services to running major international workshops tours across SE Asia as a visiting International Drum & Percussion expert. He currently serves as the Business Development Manager for Music in the UK, with a focus on Music Hubs & Services, state schools, Trinity Rock & Pop and the ground-breaking new SEND-focused qualification, Awards & Certificates in Musical Development.

Jen Flatman

National Development Manager, Independent Schools & Private Corporate sector, Classical and Jazz

Jen is a veritable source of expertise in the realms of classical and jazz. Jen is the classical and jazz expert on the business development team. As an accomplished working musician, an instrumental teacher, a parent of exam candidates and a recent grade 8 piano candidate herself, Jen can help and support you with your exams from many different viewpoints. If you have any syllabus inquiries or are seeking guidance on becoming a registered exam centre, Jen is your go-to person.
