These diplomas and certificates from Trinity are the only qualifications that provide eligibility for the UK Government’s Dance and Drama Awards funding scheme.
They were devised in consultation with some of the top musical theatre, dance and acting training providers in the UK, and with the (help of advice) from members of the theatrical professions, the Council for Dance Education and Training and the National Council for Drama Training.

A Professional Performing Arts qualification proves you have the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to find employment as a professional actor, dancer, performing artist, or to work in a production role that supports performance. As part of Trinity’s commitment to reflecting the standards required within the industry, you’ll only ever be assessed by professional actors, dancers and directors.

BA Hons or MA degrees
Middlesex University now offers a work-based, part-time distance learning course for graduates of the National Professional Performing Arts Qualifications, leading to a BA (Hons) Professional Practice. All graduates with National Diplomas also can apply directly to the MA Professional Practice at Middlesex University.
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, these qualifications are accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), the Welsh Assembly Government and the Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA).
Trinity College London is a validated member of the Council for Dance Education and Training for its Dance and Musical Theatre qualifications.
