Trinity College London is a leading international examinations board active in over sixty countries.  It provides respected qualifications in the performing arts, including classical music, rock & pop music, drama and speech and in English Language.  Trinity exams are designed to help students progress; to mark an achievement at each stage of their development, and at all levels of competence, on a journey towards fulfilment of their own individual talents and abilities.

Trinity College London was created by Trinity College of Music, the UK’s second oldest conservatory.  Trinity started the first examination program over 130 years ago, a model later adopted by other groups. With expert examiners, the backing of leading specialists and academics, a quality product, and an approachable style, Trinity encourages and motivates students to achieve their personal, vocational and professional goals.

Trinity College London focuses on music, drama and ESOL, with graded examinations for individuals and groups assessing proficiency levels from beginner to accomplished concert artiste.  The candidate is at the heart of Trinity’s work.  All Trinity examiners are professional musicians and fully trained assessors.  They emphasize evaluating what candidates can do and make the assessment experience as positive as possible.

In Canada, Trinity College London examinations have taken place since the 1930s on a restricted scale and Trinity is now working actively to extend its operations here through the opening of new centers.  There are now many centers throughout Canada and continues to expand.  In 2007, Trinity College London appointed Lum Fun Lee as its North American coordinator.  Trinity's examination program in Canada has expanded to include Music, Choral Assessment, Speech & Drama, Musical Theatre, Performance Arts, and Communications Skills.
