Trinity’s new Brass syllabus is now available
20 June 2018
Our new Brass Syllabus 2019-2022, for exams starting 1 January 2019, is now available.
Build authentic skills
Develop the brass skills that are specific to your instrument and authentic to the performer you want to be.
Explore diverse repertoire
Discover pieces across a variety of styles and genres, from orchestral to jazz to brass band, and explore the directions you could take with your music-making.
Benefit from industry expertise
Use a syllabus and supporting books created in consultation with prominent brass players, and access videos and handouts produced in collaboration with leading musicians.
There is a year’s overlap arrangement in place, so throughout 2019 candidates may offer pieces and technical work requirements from either the 2015-2018 or 2019-2022 syllabus, but not a mixture of both.
Visit our Brass page for more details.
