Each year Trinity NZ presents a variety of activities throughout the country, from professional development through to student recitals and diploma presentations. Forthcoming:

 

NEW SUPPORTING TESTS for MUSIC with National Representative, Catherine Martin

DUNEDIN Friday 5 May, 6.30pm, Mornington Methodist Church - this 30 minute meeting takes place ahead of the annual Dunedin Celebration starting at 7.30pm

INVERCARGILL Saturday 6 May, 1.30pm, Southland Women's Club, Esk Street - this 30 minute meeting takes place ahead of the annual Southland Celebration starting at 2.30pm.

WORD PLAY 2017

The Craft of Acting - deepening and enriching the actor's performance with Jennifer Ward-Lealand

AUCKLAND Saturday 20 May, 10am - 5pm, Samoa House, Karangahape Road

CHRISTCHURCH Saturday 27 May, 10am - 5pm, Trinity's Room, The Piano

In this workshop participants are directed in scenes or monologues. There is a strong emphasis on identifying and developing acting craft, including playing actions, identifying objectives and actions, processing (developing the inner monologue), pace, and use of the breath. Participants have the opportunity to observe other participants and engage fully in the process.

Registration fees: By Friday 28 April $100 full fee / $80 students; after 28 April $120 full fee / $100 students. Participants and observers welcome, however participants should contact Cathy Martin asap to register their interest, as space is strictly limited: cathy.martin@trinitycollege.co.nz.
